Performance Health held its 14th annual Scientific Advisory Committee meeting (known as “TRAC”) in St. John’s, Canada. Sixteen researchers and clinicians from 5 countries presented their research on Thera-Band® and Biofreeze® products. Eight different professional disciplines were represented, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, massage therapy, athletic training, strength and conditioning, and nursing.

The 3-day meeting was hosted by committee member, David Behm PhD of Memorial University in Newfoundland. Members presented 28 research abstracts on a variety of topics including the effectiveness of Biofreeze on back and neck pain, the benefits of using Thera-Band roller massagers and shoulder pulleys, and the effectiveness of the First Step to Active Health® kit in bariatric patients.
